Art Institute of Chicago. One of the world's greatest art museums, the Art Institute of Chicago is a school and a museum. Soldier Field. Since the 1930s, the Chicago Bears has played world-class football at the renovated Soldier Field, home of the Bears and the League Soccer team Chicago Fire. The Bears season opens the first week of September and continues through the end of December. Chicago Fire plays at Soldier Field from Apri through the MLS Cup in November. U.S. Cellular Field. U.S. Cellular Field is home to the American League's White Sox. The new version of this historic Chicago attraction opened in 1991 next to the old Comiskey Park.
